Good Designer, simple to use

I used the Webflow Designer for a quick project. It definitely made things easier to build without code. The interface was straightforward. Everything worked as expected, saved me a lot of time.

Annual billing savings good

I decided to try Webflow for a new site, and I was looking for the best deal. I saw the option to save 20% by going with annual billing for the CMS plan, which felt like a solid saving. It made the cost much more reasonable compared to monthly. The free starter plan let me test it out before committing, too. Overall, I feel like I got good value for my money with that discount.

hey, trying to decide between Webflow and Squarespace for a new portfolio site. anyone used both? how do they stack up for someone who's not a dev but wants a lot of control?

P Priya Hughes 4 months ago
I used Squarespace before Webflow. Honestly, Webflow gives you way more design freedom. Squarespace is super easy to get started but you hit a wall pretty fast if you want anything beyond their templates. Webflow has a bit of a learning curve but it's worth it for the customization.

yeah I'd definitely go Webflow if you want control without code. Squarespace feels so restrictive after using Webflow's designer. Plus, Webflow University is seriously good, helps with the learning curve much faster than trying to figure out Squarespace's limits.

Thinking of ditching my current builder for Webflow. Do they ever run sales or is it pretty much full price unless you're a student? Trying to budget for a new pro plan.

They definitely have sales, usually around Black Friday/Cyber Monday. I got a pretty sweet deal last year. Also look into their annual billing, that usually comes with a discount too.

Yeah, if you pay annually you get like 20% off which is pretty decent. And if you're a student you can get the CMS plan for free for a year. Other than that, sometimes they have partner offers but those aren't super common.
